Engineering Degrees
Engineering is a broad field of study, but no matter the area of specialty, students with engineering degrees from an online college or traditional college have excellent job prospects and high starting salaries. Bachelor of Engineering (BE or BEng) is the most common engineering degree awarded by online schools and traditional schools; it allows students to begin work in an engineering field. Some online schools and engineering schools also offer other degrees, such as associate degrees in engineering or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE), a Bachelor of Science (BSc), or a Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc). Some schools offer graduate programs in engineering. Doctorate engineering degrees are usually good for those students who want to teach engineering at the college level. Master’s degrees in engineering allow students to prepare for a professional certification exam, which allows students to become engineers and pursue just about any engineering job in their field.
